Festive Raw Chocolate
This is a simple variation of my basic raw chocolate recipe. Really once you make the chocolate base you can add whatever you fancy. But the addition of goji berries, pumpkin seeds and shredded coconut just look festive (and they add some nutritional benefits!) Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
- Raw Chocolate Base
- 1/2 cup raw caoco powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cacoa butter
- 2 heaping tbsp of nut or seed butter (I typically use sunflower seed or almond butter) * this is also totally optional but makes the chocolate a little more creamy.
- 2-3 tbsp maple syrup
- sprinkle of sea salt to taste
- Toppings
- 1/4 cup pf raw pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 goji berries
- 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
- 1/4 cup hemp hearts
- sprinkle of bee pollen
Instructions
- Melt cocoa butter, coconut oil, and nut/ seed butter on low using the double boiler method.
- Once fully melted remove from heat and add maple syrup, and sea salt (i find that if you add the maple syrup when too hot it doesn't fully incorporate) and then the cacao powder. Mix until smooth.
- Line a dish with parchment paper ( i usually use approximately 3x6)
- Pour melted chocolate into dish and then sprinkle on the remaining ingredients.
- Put in freezer until solid.
- Store in either fridge or freezer and enjoy!
Notes
Once you make the base you can really add any ingredients that you love, have on hand or add nothing other than the sea salt to the raw chocolate base!
